Season`s greetings

Season`s greetings and a Happy New Year!
Dear pilots and friends!
2024 is almost over and we would like to take the opportunity to thank everybody who has contributed this year to flywoh: Either by contributing to our events, by sacrificing time to "work" for our virtual airline group or by flying on behalf of flywoh. Thank you!
This year we have achieved a lot: Our new American Sun hub in Denver, Colorado has been launched. The schedule for Australian Sun has been completed - with exciting ultra long haul routes from Perth to London Heathrow and Frankfurt as well as from Auckland, New Zealand to New York JFK. The Skyways long haul schedule has also been updated and our new global cargo airline, NEXUS Cargo is now live! Last but not least, we have published several texture packages for a wide range of freeware and payware aircrafts.
For 2025 we will continue our work and the following projects are scheduled:
Arabian Sun will constantly optimise its schedule on the short- as well as the longhaul network.
Australian Sun: A project will be launched to define the future fleet strategy of Australian Sun. Main goal will be to setup a modern fleet which will replace the rest of the Boeing B747-400s, replace the B717s in the longterm and to offer further ultra long haul destinations from Sydney.
American Sun will take over the B777 fleet of Austrian Sky and will launch a project to define a future fleet strategy for its regional fleet.
Austrian Sky will take over the B737 fleet of charterair and will transform into a European carrier with hubs accross Europe. First bases beside its home market Austria - and especially Vienna - will be Dusseldorf and Berlin in Germany and Palma de Mallorca in Spain. More bases will follow. The fleet will consist of B737-800s, B737 MAX8 and B787s. For the regional segment it will be considered to swap from Q400 to modern ATR72s. More to follow...
charterair will concentrate on leisure flights from its german homemarket. Beside the brand new A330neo longhaul fleet it will fly A320neos and A321neos on short- and mediumhaul. The remaining Boeing B757-300s will be replaced by 2026.
Skyways will setup a new short- and mediumhaul schedule. There will be launched a project to replace the B777-300ERs in the longterm.
NEXUS Cargo has taken off successfully. In 2025 we will track the development of NEXUS Cargo. Depending on the statistics we will consider to add further aircraft types in the short- and longhaul segment.
Swiss Sky will be on focus for 2025. We are currently working on a new longhaul schedule for Swiss Sky out ot Zurich. The future longhaul fleet will consist of A350-1000s, A350-900 and A330-900neos, while the shorthaul fleet will add A321LRs for mediumrange flights from Zurich to Africa. For leisure routes out of Zurich the fleet will be extended by A340-300s and A320-200s.
We hope these news will get you as excited as we will be and we wish you Merry Christmas, relaxing holidays and a Happy New Year 2025!
