Season`s Greetings
December 17, 2023

Season`s greetings and Happy New Year!

Dear pilots and friends!

Another exciting year comes to an end. In 2023 we have once again achieved a lot. We are thinking about several new liveries that we have published, especially for Microsoft Flight Simulator. By the way: The latest MSFS livieries for the LVFR A321neo (LR) have been released just a couple of hours ago in our download area.

We have also improved our website and have implemented smartCARS 3. The flywoh contest 2023 is also in its final stage and we wish everybody a successful finish. We are already looking forward to name the winners of the contest and hand them over their prizes.

Therefor we would like to thank everybody who has contributed either by flying for flywoh, for improving our flywoh experience or by contributing financially to keep our operations going!

For 2024 there are several projects in place to further enhance our virtual airline group:

At Arabian Sun, the Airbus A310 operations will end on December 31st. The Airbus A310 and also Airbus A321ceo will be replaced by 16 brand new Airbus A321neo longrange which will add several interesting routes accross the Arabian Sun network.

Australian Sun will introduce its brandnew Boeing B787-9 aircrafts within the next weeks. Ten B787-9 will then replace the B747-400 operations in Melbourne (the B747-400 will still operate from Sydney) and will add ultra long haul flights to the Australian Sun network. New routes will be launched from Sydney via Perth to Frankfurt and from Melbourne via Perth to London Heathrow, offering for the first time in flywoh history nonstop flights from Australia to Europe and the UK. Australian Sun will also introduce a route from Sydney via Auckland to New York JFK.

American Sun will close down its focus cities Myrtle Beach and Las Vegas by the end of 2023. The MD82s which operate from MYR and LAS will be based at our Miami hub. Within the first quarter in 2024 there will be introduced a new hub in Denver. Goal is to better connect the Mid West and North of the US. Therefor flywoh has also signed a contract to acquire 12 Boeing B717s which will be based in Denver, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Austrian Sky will start with its longhaul fleet renawel. Boeing B787-9 aircrafts will start replacing the B787-8 and B777-200ER.

charterair will also continue to add more Airbus A330neos to its fleet in order to replace the older Airbus A330-200s and A340-300s in Munich, Duesseldorf, Manchester, London Gatwick, Amsterdam and Barcelona. New Airbus A321neos will also replace the last Boeing B757-300s at charterair.

Skyways will also add the Airbus A321neo to its fleet in order to replace older A321ceos.

Skyways Cargo will undergo a massive transformation in 2024 and 2025. From a pure cargo airline segment, Skyways Cargo will transform into a virtual freight ingrator company. Therefor we will also add Airbus A300-600Fs to our fleet and will setup several cargo hubs around the globe. More details will follow.

Swiss Sky will take over the charterair Airbus A340-300s and will also introduce the Airbus A330neo and Airbus A321neo longrange to replace its Airbus A330-200 fleet. Exciting new routes will be added to the Swiss Sky network soon.

With prodiving you all these thrilling news, we wish you Merry Christmas, relaxing holidays and a Happy New Year 2024!
